Getting the old one off is the hard part
Absolutely couldn't budge the old sleeve with pliers. Prying from the bottom would have broken the plastic boss on the case. Wound up gripping the tip of it tightly with a vise-grip, then hammering on a protruding part of the vise-grip (part of the "C-clamp" that's built into this particular model's handle). Took a number of hard whacks before it started to let go.
Cleaned off the motor shaft, removed gunk around its bottom, sprayed some food-grade machine oil into the bearing and the new sleeve. Tapped the sleeve onto the shaft using a wad of paper to cushion the hammer blows. When it seemed fully seated, checked clearance between the metal blade and the bottom of the food processor bowl—it should be about 1 mm.
Now this great machine is ready for another 25 years of service!

The original Bowl cover and Mixer bowl with handle showed cracks and showed signs of aging
With the replacement parts substituted the above parts. Since the parts are made of transparent plastic, the closure was little tight in the beginning. I had to oil (with edible oil) the inside of the bowl at the edges and now it works smoothly. Thanks

Lid and bowl were not meeting due to a lot of use.I could not see discarding a perfectly good machine so I searched for parts.
Finally both parts arrived. When putting the two together on the machine I must say it was a bit tight and is not going all the way in but works just fine. I can live with it.

The locking part had broken off the lid of my food processor making it inoperable.
I put the new bowl cover on & it worked perfectly. I was surprised how easy it was to locate the correct part. Also, it arrived in just a few days, much to my surprise. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you very much.

The platic shaft was broken.
The plastic shaft was split in several places. I used a screw driver to pop it off the metal shaft. When the new part arrived I slipped it in place and the food processor is back in working order. I was attempting to buy one from Ebay when I saw the advertisement for parts at the bottom of the ebay item. I thought why not try to fix it. I fixed it and I might as I am female and 73 years old. I broke the workbowl trying to get the cover off after uncucessfully trying to grate some cheese. No way to get cover off without breaking both parts.
I had a spare cover since I have done this before and I just ordered another workbowl. Just put them on and operate. Now I keep a spare of each on hand in case I do something dumb again. Love my food processor and use it every day.

Bowl and lid cracked and brittle.
Just put new parts on. Cleaning by hand instead of dishwasher will help this and all hard plastic items last much longer.
