Rollers Disintegrated
Hello -

Upper rack fell down unexpectedly one night while loading the dishwasher -- evidentally the rollers had been deterioraring for a long time.

Orderd the new ones from you folks and installed them.

The problem I had was not with the replacement parts received, but making sure they were the correct ones 'on line', ( called as well ), and then not having a thin enough wrench to hold the nylon nut while unscrewing the bushings which required a large width screwdriver.

I have already sent you an e-mail saying how happy I am with the new pieces.

Just another example of how the right tools can make everything go a lot smoother, but we everyday consumers often don't have them.....

water tube cracked & broke off rounded end
Used duct tape to hold the old tube in place until I had a chance to see if the part was available online. Found it, ordered & received it the very next day. (Great service!) Removed the old tube which was already half off once I removed the duct tape & slipped the new tube on. A little trouble at the rounded end, but I used a screwdriver handle to kind of mold that end round & then slipped on.

replaced bottom dishrack on dishwasher and had ultimately to replace the wheels
Tried to get the old axles and wheels off old dishwasher but couldn't so ordered new axles and wheels--not easy to put on--needed pliers--but the worst part is the wheels don't glide as well as the ones we couldn't get off the old rack so-particually when the bottom rack is loaded--it is very hard to push in the rack and pull it out. You practically have to lift it. Very disappointed as in the hopes of making an improvement (replacing old rack with broken pieces that held dishes) it is now worse!

original water tube had cracked /dishes were not clean
This repair was just so easy. I am a 65 year widow and did not want to call repair for something that I thought I could do-ordered the part and it was delivered in two days. I rubbed a small amount of vaseline around both the tube's ends, used the hair dryer to heat slightly, attached one end of the tube to the upper spray arm receiver and the other end to upper wash assembly and job completed. My savings was probably $65.00 or more for no service call. Works great and dishes are clean again.

the tube was completely split open
Piece of cake --after having read what others had suggested on your webpage, I used the heat from a hair dryer which made the piece pliable and simple to fit into place. It took less than five minutes. When my husband came in from work, I proudly told him the part had arrived and it was fixed! Taa Daa!

Door latch catch broke
I squeezed the latch catch with a pair of pliers and pushed it in the catch hole. But that was the final repair. There were two "repairs" before that. First, we used two commercial grade rolls of wide plastic tape to tape the dryer door shut each time we used it, for a year, until we ran out of tape. Second, we positioned a chest of drawers in front of the dryer and wedged a 1" x 4" against the door. Very effective. Then I broke down and ordered the $3 catch.

Plastic roller axles were broken.
Snapped in new ones (8) by hand. I was amazed
how fast I was able to find this part online and the
ordering was easy and in a few days the parts
arrived. No hassle trying to explain to anyone what
part I needed. There were pictures of all parts
available. Ordering online, especially if you
know what you are looking for, is really the way to go.

Bottom rack would not roll easily and often came off track
I just pulled out the rack and removed the eight existing roller wheels and roller axles. I was able to remove most of the roller axles with my fingers but needed pliers to remove a couple of them. I then snapped the new roller axles onto the rack and then the roller wheels onto the new roller axles and put the entire rack back in the dishwasher.
The lower rack now rolls smoothly and consistently no matter how many dishes we have piled into it. Also, it has not come off the tracks since replacing the roller axles and roller wheels.

Unit was not cleaning dishes - left detergen undissolved
I am a 73 year old lady. My nephew found the torn rubber water delivery tube after a repairman had found nothing. I looked up the model number, contacted Part Select by e-mail, ordered the part ($15.++ for cost and delivery), read reviews and found tipe for installation. Total time spent on installation was less than ten minutes. The round tube, with a smidgen of liquid detergent inside each end of the tube, fits onto the water line; the other end of the tube will squeeze flat with little effort, and fits onto the apray arm.
