THERMOSTAT -

This thermostat is also known as a temperature control thermostat and is used in conjunction with your refrigerator. The purpose of this part is to send power to the refrigeration system. By doing this it regulates the temperature within the refrigerator. If your appliance is not cooling properly or running continuously you may have a problem with the thermostat. To make this repair you will need a quarter-inch nut driver, a small flat-blade screwdriver, and a pair of needle-nose pliers. This model has been updated by the manufacturer; it may appear different, but will still function the same.

It was a simple matter of removal and replacement. The process was intuitive and very easy to do. Removal the old thermostat, extend the sensing tube and secure the tube to the bottom of the freezer compartment. Plug it back in, turn it on to the middle setting and see what happens.
