Freezer Kept defrosting
I looked at the video that came with the part and followed what i saw. My wife and i was about to go out and spend between $1500 and $2500 on a new refrigerator due to continuous defrosting. It had been happening for about a year. I followed the instructions from the video and the defrosting has stopped. Thanks so much for the video and the part! Flapper Was Not Closing
Removed Flat Panel from front and used screwdrivers to remove screws and access spring and flapper, one note, once i did have access to this section i was able to see that the main reason the flapper was not closing was because the Dispenser Door Solenoid Assembly was frozen solid and needed to be replaced, I had not ordered this part and therefore had to order it at a later time, and repeat the repair, best to open this section up find all the damaged parts and then order...

Water dispenser stops working but ice maker was fine
First, I replaced my water filter but when it didn't work I googled the problem and the most advice I found was the double outlet water valve must be bad. SO I ordered the parts thru parts select. But when I installed the valve, the water dispenser still didn't working. I went back to parts select website and to see if somebody had the same problem. A gentlemen posted that if the water line is frozen, no water will come out. So I defrosted my refrigerator and turned it on again and it finally work. So now, I wasn't sure if the REAL problem I had was just frozen line or a bad valve. I decided to keep the water valve since my ref was almost 10yrs old. (But I still don't know why my water line froze.)
