This is a drain pump for your washing machine. This part funnels out water from the washing machine during the draining process of the cycle. This model is white and has a plastic shell. The drain pump is just over 4 inches high, about 5 inches long, and almost 3 inches wide. You will need to replace this part if your unit is leaking, and/or no longer draining water properly.

Drain pump failed

Remove back cover and with a light and a mirror the screws can be identified. Three hold this pump on. Remove electrical connection then the pump. So also remove the corrugated connecting boot by undoing three clamps. Clean and reassemble
