Splash guard had been replaced by faulty generic guard.
Found the proper GE Splash Guard and slipped it
into place. The repair was a snap but finding the part was difficult until I found it on PartSelect.

Old guard brittle and broken fell into disposal and was disposed
Removed new guard from package and slipped it right into place, no problems.

The Splash Guard had begun to disintgrate. One from Lowes didn't fit correctly. The Stopper got thrown away by accident during the holidays.
New Splash Guard fits perfectly and allows food to go into the disposer more easily. Couldn't be happier. ordered items one day and were here the next at no extra cost.

The splashguard on the disposall had deteriorated leaving a silver-dollar-sized hole.
The repair was simple. I removed the old splash guard and placed the new splash guard in. It took less than a minute. Absolutely no tools required.

Received the new splash guard within 3 days, took it out of the package, pulled out the old one and inserted the new one. No tools, it took about 1 minute. Very easy!

The splash guard had deteriorated and kept falling into the disposall.

The rubber got old and weak. The splash guard kept falling into the disposer when you tryed to push food down.
Just like one of the other guys who had this problem, I had purchased a "universal" replacement from ACE that did not fit my appliance. When I got your replacement it took me just seconds to pop out the old one and push in the new one. It works perfectly! Thanks
