The accordian part of the side extension panel tore
All that you have to do is slide the old part out that attaches to the cabinet of the air conditioner and slide in the new. You first slide in the accordian part of the extention panels and then the two plastic sections into the rails that hold them in place. No tools are required. the extensions on the AC unit riped.
the old ones just slipped out and the new ones went on like a glove.---a no brainer project!
