dishwasher dead, all lights off
i had electrician come. quite incompetent. he came without any electrical tester. however, he said "it's always the board". i paid for the visit and ordered the part from "partselect". it arrived within 3 days. i switched off circuit breaker. i removed inside panel of front door. about 10 screws. the electric board became visible. i pulled out all the plugs from the panel and removed old panel. that's a bit tricky, since it is held by 4 or 5 plastic pins, whose top end one needs to push together to release the board. you do one after the other and bend the board, so that it does not slip back. pushed on new board. plugged in all plugs. closed the panel with its 10 screws. bingo. works great. saved me at least $150.

Blown Hose
The rubber elbow on the plastic hose blew several weeks ago.
Had to take dishwasher out and apart from the backside to remove the blown hose. Went back good....just took a while because the water feed started leeking.
