ice guide broken
removed front cover, disconneted elect. wiring, removed 2 screws, soaped latches on ice guide, snapped into place, reversed removal steps.

I was getting plastic in with ice.
Remove ice bin,remove screws that hold the cover, then remove circlip at the end of the shaft.Remember to stack grinder blades and spacers in the order they come off ,then remove plastic nut that holds the auger . Remove broken auger and install new one then reinstall grinder blades as you removed them . Insert shaft back into bin and replace cover. Place ice bin back in Frig. and your done. The ice guide just snaps in . Jr.

Ice tray wasn't producing ice.
Traced it to the fact that water was't making it's way to the ice tray as everything else seemed to be working.looked up part on site which was water inlet valve, ordered part,installed in thirty minutes and now it works great again.JAY

Icemaker water leaking due to crack in water inlet valve
I followed the instructions on your video. I'm a 69-year-old female with a hip problem. The most difficult part of the job was getting back up off the floor when I finished.

Ice Mold finish worn off
Loosen to screws under ice mold and unplug power cord from icemaker.Lift out complete unit. Remove cover on ice maker,then 3 screws on end plate and remove end plate. Remove 2 screws that hold ice mold to frame. Make sure that the thermostat is moved to new mold. Reverse order to install new mold.

Water not dispensing
found manuel online to trouble shoot once I took the front panel off I could see the sesor for the water side had two broken pegs that held it in place. We simply unplugged the wires and popped out the bracket which is all one piece for both ice and water. Put new one in and reconnected plugs easy and simple. Saved a huge bill from a repair man

Valve damaged by water freezing in it
Removed old valve - very easy and intuitive. Identified damage and ordered new valve kit. Installation was easier than the instructions said. It was not necessary to trim the plastic water lines.

Door would not close on its own...had to give it a little extra shove
Took off the top cap, undid the 3 screws holding the top door bracket on, took off the door, repshove the lower door closing cam pieces, and then put the door back on...piece of cake, dude.
