Spring mechanism failed and shattered tab that was part of base frame.
I could not decipher whether repair parts kit was exact original or modified by Bosch. Ordered kit 754866 and found it contained exactly what I needed. The kit added a metal tab to springs that fit next to broken tab in a slot in the base frame. They were tapped into place with a small hammer per directions that came with it. Rest of task was relatively simple.

Water leak on top of door.
Went to on line video and followed it. The old gasket came right out and the new one fit right in. Started at the top middle and worked the gasket in on both sides to make sure it was evenly spaced.

Dishwasher Door Opens Too Fast
I watched a YouTube video on this but ending up not needing to follow it too closely. I have a granite counter top, so no need to remove any screws on the top lip of the dishwasher. I also had a very long water hose, drain hose and electric cord, so I could pull the dishwasher out without disconnecting or turning off anything. All was left was to remove the sound insulation from the top (be sure to get it back on like you took it off) and then take the old springs out. They were kinda stuck in there but even if you get some plastic coming with them, there is a slot for the new replacement spring to be hammered back in. Hammer the spring back in (I used a brass hammer) and route the cord back up to the latch for the cord. Make sure you don't get it upside down or you may get a noise when it hits the metal. If there is a sharp bang when the door closes, you need to turn the plastic clip over. Usually only one side will break first and you can use the other side as a guide on how things should fit. Using needle nose pliers, reconnect the plastic end (opposite the spring) back into the steel clip (do this with the door shut). Do the same to the other side and you are finished. Make sure the door operates well with no noise before you slide it back in. The spring kit I got was PN PS8770519 for my Bosch Dishwasher which is 19 years old, I assume that iy came with the house and that's how old the house is. Easy

Dishwasher door spring broke
This was an easy repair to make on this model of Bosch dishwasher with this kit. I watched a YouTube video describing this repair before I purchased the parts, and I didn’t have to go through many of the steps described in the video. I began by removing the two screws holding the dishwasher under the countertop and eased it out from its enclosure. The rope with the broken plastic clip was easy to find on one side of the dishwasher without removing any shields or having to flip the dishwasher on it’s back. I removed the old spring, attached the new rope and plastic clip to the new spring, routed the rope around the pullies and pushed the new spring in place. I did the same thing on the other side while it was out. I also spent some time leveling the dishwasher with the leveling feet while I had it pulled out too. Easy repair.

Be careful to anchor the spring carefully
I disconnected the water, power, brackets, and drain and then slid out the washer. Replacing the springs and related cords is easy in and of itself. Common sense will tell you how to do it once you see it. Each spring comes with a metal retainer(?) which has to be removed prior to installation. Why it is there is a mystery. The old spring does not have it, and the new "Cord" will not attach to the old spring so you have to replace it to fit the new "Cord." I also took the opportunity to replace the water line and valve.

The disappointment came with one of the springs. One end of each spring is held in place by the plastic side frame, which in one case was in the process of disintegration or perhaps damaged in original manufacture. In any event, the plastic let-go and the new spring shot forward into the "Guide" (part 0528) and broke it in two. I have ordered new "Guides" but I will have to fabricate some way to attach the spring to the plastic frame. I hope you don't have to go through that. So be very careful replacing the springs.

One Door Spring on the Dishwasher Broke
The installation of the door springs was easier than I thought it would be. The Springs themselves included an extra metal tab, which made it so they could slip into the dishwasher body, without the need for additional plastic pieces, like the original springs. This was ideal because the way in which the spring plastic end broke would have made replacement very difficult. That said, the video instructions for our model dishwasher were inaccurate. There was no way to disconnect the power and water, as indicated in the video. This did make me think twice before pulling the dishwasher out. Luckily the electrical and water connections were long enough such that we could slide the dishwasher out to repair the springs. Also, fortunately, we didn't have to slide it out as far as was indicated in the video. Connecting the ropes was a little tricky, but by attaching the rope to the spring and pulling the rope with a pliers to extend the spring, this allowed me to hook the clip on the door. All in all, the process was easy. It just would have been better if the video actually reflected the work,

Dishwasher door dropping
After researching YouTube, I figured out the problem was the left side of the door was dropping. Took some screws out where the dishwasher was attached to the counter and cabinets. It took a bit to pull the dishwasher out but when done, the fix was easy. Reverse the process, make sure there’s power and hoses are back.
