the 2 yr old icemaker tray had deterioted and the ice stuck
I had to replace the whole unit. The tray should have lasted longer and there should have been a replacement tray available. The installation was easy. 3 screws removed, unplug unit, turn off water and put in new unit.

Expected repair instructions to come with
I had watched my handyman take the old auger out realign it so I knew pretty much what to do, that adjustment did not work so I had to order new auger. Problem was lining up the screw holes, metal to ice box, just did not want to work. After about an hour of trying realized that the nylon grooves t the bottom could be slid in from each side after the holes were matched--hard to explain. Being female seems to take us longer to think this out.

Replaced ice maker
Unplugged refrigerator and truned off water supply. I then removed old ice maker by first removing screw holding mounting bracket with 1/4 inch nut driver. Then I carefully pulled up and out on the ice maker to remove it from mounting brackets on the side of unit. Once free, I was able to access the wiring harness in the back and remove it from the unit by compressing the clips and gently pulling with an even pressure. Now that the old ice maker was detached I took it to my counter and removed the on/off switch rocker bar and wiring harness. I attached these two pieces to the new ice maker. I then plugged the wiring harness back into unit and lined up the mounting brackets on the side wall and did a reverse tilt to downward pressure onto brackets until they clicked in securely. The last step was to screw in the mounting bracket with nut driver. Turned on water line and plugged machine back in. It took about an hour and a half before it produced its first harvest of ice, but has been working like a charm since.

Ice leaking water.
Watch the video on the sight and that was almost all I really needed. The only thing I would add is that it took me some time to get the drawer freezer door off. Lift the front straight up. Don't pull the door slides out.

Ice bucket was cracked due to cube getting stuck between auger and bucket
Repair was simple. Only problem was the screw holes weren't completely drilled through. This caused a little damage to the new ice bucket while driving the screws. Damage is minimal and ice bucket works.

Ice Maker worked sporadically and then started dropping water into bin, make a large chunk.
Was very happy with the experience of using your company. The man on the phone was helpful. The icemaker shipping was only about $7 and got here in a couple of days. I liked the video, and then including a link to the video with the on-line confirmation. Was not quite sure it was the icemaker or the metering valve on the back, as the latter would make a little grinding noise, but the symptoms matched the dumping of water into the bin. After replacing, everything is working well. The only difficulty was the wire harness plugs into the other side of the back of the box than in the video and I found it a little difficult to route the wires correctly as they seemed too short. But a little trial and error solved that. My model is freezer on the bottom and I didn't notice that the little detachable funnel wasn't quite seated and it was necessary to reinstall, making sure the funnel stayed in place correctly. That was my own error. My overall experience was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend PartSelect to anyone with an icemaker problem. I'm only sorry I lived with a recalcitrant ice maker for a couple of years before finally acting on it. I am glad I found your website! Lee in Texas

Condensor Fan going bad
I knew the repair wasn't difficult. It was a matter of finding the replacement part. Luckily, I found the part via the internet on your site. Lucky for me, there was an installation video!! These videos are worth 1000 bucks!! Never have encountered a site with installation videos before. It gave me complete insight as to how the job was sequenced. I'm a very visual person, so videos are the perfect helper for me. With fewer and fewer affordable local service companies around to fix problems like mine, your site gave me the complete confidence to easily switch out the condensor fan. I completed the repair for about $63.00. Your site ROCKS! Keep up the repair videos because they are awesome and extremely helpful. I felt like your pricing was competitive for this item. Thanks again!!

Ice cresents froze together in one big lump
Simple replacement of the icemaker solved the problem. I suspect the icemaker was overfilling resulting in water flowing into the ice reservoir.

ice agitator was stuck and wouldn't dispense ice
I've been messing around with the old part for literally years. Every now and then the metal agitator rod would spin out of the plastic cup that joins it to the freezer. I'd have to disassemble it and try to get it back into alignment. This time nothing worked, so I ordered a new assembly. It arrived even more promptly than PartSelect predicted and it installed in five minutes. I couldn't be happier!
