Heating Element Brass Nut

This is a lower dishrack assembly for your dishwasher. It slides into place on the lower half of your appliance to hold dishes and other cookware during the dishwashing cycle. This part includes the rollers, also known as wheels, and axles. This model is a light grey/blue in color and is roughly 24 inches long and 22 inches wide. There is one lower dishrack, eight wheels/rollers, and eight axels included in this kit.






Impeller Kit

This pump impeller and seal kit comes with a spin seal, shims and a guide, but does not come with a mascerator blade. Use it for your D&M design Frigidaire/WCI brand dishwasher.



Baffle Plate and Seal

This baffle plate and seal gasket deflects water and keeps it from seeping out of the bottom of your D&M design dishwasher. It fits models with a door measuring 21-3/4 inches wide. Use it for your Frigidaire/WCI brand washing machine.

I looked under and found that 2 brass nuts that secured the heater element through the base housing of the dishwasher has split down each side of the nut and no longer was tight enough to keep water from leaking around either end of the heater element. Unplugged dishwasher, removed the 2 wires clipped to the heating element, removed both cracked nuts, replaced with new nuts from PartSelect, clipped on wires, plugged in and did a test cycle. Based upon service quote from Best Buy, I saved myself $125.00 for just the call out, not including parts and labor. read more

I turned the power off at the circuit breaker. I then took the access panel off the dishwasher at the bottom. I pulled the wire off the connector. I used a plied to remove the broken washer and replaced with new part. I put everything back in reverse order and ran the dishwasher.
