The repair was easy. Would have been super easy if a piece of the old element had not broken off in the slot. The directions that I received were perfect. The oven was fixed within 45 minutes. No repairman needed - very inexpensive fix. By ordering this part and following the directions it was a quick and cheap fix. Thank you for having my part and sending instructions with it. I watched the repair video that came with my recipt for my order. When my bake element arrived I unplugged the stove. I then followed the instructions in the video by unscrewing the old element and removing the wires. I then hooked up the wires to the new element, pushed it into place and attached the screws. Plugged in the stove and turned on the over to preheat. Worked like brand new. PartSelect save me so much money and time. I love this site!

I just pulled out the drawer, and inserted the replace part into the little hole that the old one was. It works great.Very easy to do.

The most difficult part of the process was cleaning the oven. It possibly had never been cleaned before. It was cleaned while waiting for the part to arrive. The part came in 2 or 3 days and I got right to work. I had expected that the nuts might be frozen with rust to the back plate but the nut driver handled them with ease. I used clothes pins to prevent the wires from disappearing back through the holes in the back plate. The push pull connectors came off easily and went back on snug with no adjustment needed. Everything fit just fine and best of all, the oven can bake again.

Reviewed the online repair video a few times then got started. Although only two were bad, I replaced all four terminal blocks. I removed the range top instead of using the built in kick stands. this left me much more room to work and I was able to clean the top of the range really well before getting started. Wires for the back terminals where short and a little difficult to use after cutting off the old terminal blocks. The terminal block mounting option for my style range included with the repair kit would not allow me to utilize the screw for the third wire on the left rear burner. I used a drill to carefully widen the hole in the mount to make the original screw fit as there are no screws included with the kit. This added the extra time to complete the repair. Over all the repair was simple to complete but having to modify the terminal block mount was dissapointing considering the web site selected parts for my specific model number. Still a bargain compared to what a service call or new purchase costs. I will be reparing my ranges from now on.

With screw driver, popped out old glide and popped in new ones. Apparently there are some pieces missing that the front drawer glides slide on. I have not found a picture so I don't know what they are. partselect was very prompt in sending what I did order. Thanks.

So simple....removed back panel, removed knob from front of range and removed 2 screws holding the knob in. Used needle nose pliers to pull wires off existing switch, placed wires in identical spots on new switch. Put switch post through front of range and put the 2 screws back in and the knob on. Finished and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. No more sparking....

Unplugged the main cord to the socket in behind range. Took back panel off. Unscrewed switch from its position on face of range. Switch is not a look alike switch to original, so had to pay attention to the labeling on both switches as to their identity. Removed one line at a time from old switch and placed on new switch. Rechecked positions of the wires and made sure there was no binding of the wire positions when installed. Mounted switch to same position previous switch was removed. Reinstalled back panel, plugged in range and tested switch. Very easy repair as long as you can see the labeling on back of switches. I used a light having a strap that is positioned on my head for best lighting possible for one person repair.

Moved range foward, unplugged it,removed upper back cover(5 screws)replaced corresponding switch.(make sure to disconnet one wire at a time off the old one and connect to new one so you get them right)attached switch to range by screwing the 2 screws that go in the front and pushed in control knob.Also replaced burner by pulling out old one and plugging in the new one.Plugged in range and moved back into place.Made sure it worked right and done.Very easy fix!

Watched on-line video to confirm I was ordering correct part and installation took less than 30 seconds. Video was very helpful.

Confirm the problem and check electrical diagram to see if there was any other circuit in the syatem that could cause the burner to stay on , remove back cover and inspect switch contacts, found them burnt , look up parts for the model number and replace it.

turned off the braker to the stove then loosened the two screws removed the old element put in the new element tighetned the screws turned the braker back on its working fine

I am an electrician so I had no problem identifying wire and connecting them properly. However there were no instructions provided with the part and the configuration of the new switch was different than the the old one. I doubt if a DIY individual would have been capable of handling this task. Also there were no safety warning with respect to electrical repairs, which is a must today.
