The top two elements in the wall oven will not heat up but the bottom element in the bottom oven will. We replaced both of the top elements as well as the long heat sensor. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

Hello,
I have a maytag cwe5800acs double oven. The lower oven works fine, however, the upper oven does not reach the temp that is set at. An example is I set it for 400 and it only reached 180. I tried again after awhile with setting it at 350 and it reached 200.
Thanks for your help. Phil
For model number CWE5800ACS
Hello Phil, thank you for the question. According to our research, we recommend checking the long oven sensor, part number PS1570174. It is similar to a thermostat; it measures and regulates the internal temperature of your oven cavity. If this is faulty, replace it. If this is fine, we suggest inspecting the bake element, part number PS11757472, and the broil element, part number PS11744512. If any of these parts are faulty, replace them. If the issue remains, you may need to replace the electronic control board, part number PS11750220. We hope this is helpful!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the sensor out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Next, I connected new sensor and screwed the new sensor back in place. One area for caution. Make sure that the electrical connection is pushed in past the insulation on the back side of the oven. Fa
