CDE820 Maytag Range - Instructions

The hardest part of the repair was getting the old cruddy screws out of the old element. They were sort of "baked-in". Once we got the screws out the rest was really easy. Just inserted the element prongs & screwed the new ones in. Ordering & receiving the part was a snap...I would recommend your company to anyone. Thank you.

remove two screws, pull out element, diconnect two wires, toss old element,plug in wires to new element, replace two screws and viola- done

Now if you just sold faucet parts I'd be all set.

Unscrewed old cap, installed new

Replace filter

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

removed the damaged assembly by just pulling out from the connector. removed the broken glass top by taking out the screws holding the rim assembly and replaced the broken unit with the new one and plugged it back into the power assembly. Took all of 15 minutes.

1. Shut the breaker off; Jenn-Air's design will have you working around hot leads if you don't.
2. Raise the control panel
3. Remove burner and unscrew the burner connector; trace the wires back to the control panel bottom and remove them
4. On the replacement connector, add the electrical for the control panel. These are not included and can be found at any hardware store; they are a standard size.
5. Connect the new wires and put everything back together.
6. Reset the break and test.

I had a service guy come in and he told me the repair would be $550.00. I asked for a part list and did it myself. You guys saved me hundreds of dollars.

First checked to see if there was power to the heating element. There was , so I knew the element was bad. I ordered a new heating element and it came in 3 days! I removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Reversed the procedure with new element. Turned on oven and my wife cooked a delicious meatloaf.

removed blower housing secured to floor with two screws then removed flexible vent pipe from blower housing then removed blower removed blower wheel and motor put new motor and wheel on put back on stove thats it..

This was so easy. I've looked for years in stores for these pans. I finally tried the Internet, found PartSelects and, holding my breath at what i'd find, voila'...perfect fit, perfect replacements. And it took just a couple days to arrive. I'll definately be back!

I needed two parts for the Jenn-Air stove that was in a house I was trying to get ready to sell. I didn't realize I needed the parts until the day before the house was to be listed. So, I was able to order from Parts Select and have the parts shipped overnight for an extra fee. They arrived the next morning. After opening the box, I realized the wrong color had been shipped. I called and the service I received was just awesome. The overnight shipping was refunded. And the right part was shipped out at no extra charge. Took parts off from under the range, and replaced the motor. Then put the unit back under the stove and connected the vent.

Everything went fine. No trouble.
