Just take you time doen't tighten the screws tight amd tuck your edges.

We tried repairing with a new switch which was very easy to install but it didn't fix the problem.

Replacement was simple. Time from placeing order till receipt of item was less than 36 hours. My 4th order from Partselect and never waited for more than 2 days to receive new parts. I'm still impressed with Partselect.

Disconnect the door from the unit and lay it flat to install the gasket, it's easier than leaving it on. Reattachment makes the process a bit longer but more effective.

My husband put in in, no problem and all is well. My husband is a mechanic for large machinery/motors so installation was no problem. Thanks, better than buying a new fridge!!!

Repair turned out to be unnecessary because the compressor was just not supplying adequate cooling. Need new compressor or fridge. Condensor clean fan working, evaporator is ice free and fan working, defrost timer working, thermostat ok and cold control tested good. Fridge runs all the time but never satisfies cold control setting.

This is an easy fix, simply remove and replace. What I was impressed with is that a how to video was provided along with my part. I wish all manufactures would offer this, the video was easy to understand and you had a good view of the operation. Thanks, a job well done.

I watched the video that parts select had that showed step by step instructions on how to change it. The video was so clear and direct with the explanations that I really had no difficulty in changing it. Thank you very much for such a helpful video.

Replaced defrost thermostat.

removed condenser fan -located behind refrigerator next to compressor, Not much clearance to work, there are 3 screws to remove from condensing motor,sounds easy but clearance is lacking to remove them ,(takes alot of PATIENCE). Then you have to remove the fan blades to be able to get clearance to remove motor!! I wouldn't reccommend trying this repair unless you are a pro.

Thanks to some reviews we found online about replacing gaskets, ours went very smoothly. One person said to soak the gasket in hot water, which we did til it was very soft. Installed like a breeze. Then, the same person said to tape the door closed after installation, we did that too. The gasket looks like it was professionally installed and we have never done it before. Thanks!

These videos are worth 1000 bucks!! Never have encountered a site with installation videos before. It gave me complete insight as to how the job was sequenced. I found the condenser fan was not working so I bought a new condenser fan kit and installed it. Fixed!
