Burner was unreliable...would stop working...I had already replaced the burner
I did as the video suggested.....I cut the old wires and spliced new ones already attached to the new terminal block. It would have been nice to have some instructions with the parts as I expected one piece but had to connect the wires to the new block and the new metal cover. I was guessing a bit. Also, I needed to use the holder strip off my old part so that it displaced the new part back far enough to insert the burner connections. That meant finding a screw and nut small enough to allow the metal cover to fit on the block. But the burner works great. I've learned that any repair requires some ingenuity.

Broken/burnt out broil element
First I tried using a screw driver only, but the screws were too hard to drive out.It was easy to get the screws out with a socket set. It took me more time to figure out which back panels to take out and to install than to replace the elements. I decided to replace the bake element too, so I don't have to replace another element again later. I was going to buy a new oven, but after reading the Partselect customer's comments on the internet I decided to repair it. Now the oven works like new.

Oven heating unit had burned out
Once I watched the video I realized how absolutely simple the whole repair would be. The information making sure the little clips did not slip back into the oven was quite helpful. I saved a minimum of $150.00 by completing the task myself. Thank you. Joan

Daughter Could Broil BUT Could Not Bake with the Oven
The ~60 minute time frame resulted because of: Locating & Turning off the Circuit Breaker (40 amp) in the Electrical Panel Box to the Oven (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR SAFETY); Removing the Old Bake Element; Using a OHM Meter to Check the "Continuity" of the Old Bake Element to make sure that it was defective; Ordering the New Unit from Parts Select; Installing the New Bake Element and Calibrating the Oven Temperature Settings with a New Oven Thermometer. This was done for Safety and Cooking Reasons to ensure that the Oven would not overheat and was heating correctly. OTHER REPAIR HINTS FYI: I had to use a 1/4" Socket with a Ratchet to remove the Screws which were "frozen" in place; Upon installing the same screws I found that a Portable Hand Held Electric Ratchet worked great because of the "Arm Stretch" into the Oven; I secured the Power Wires that attach to the Bake Element i.e. to prevent them from slipping into the Oven Wall by securing them in place with a "loop" of #14 Romex Wire; Lastly, using pliers, I "VERY Lightly" compressed the electrical Spade Connectors (Female) from the Power wires onto the Bake Element Male Connectors to make sure that the wires were secure and could not easily disconnect.
