open machine up and replaced the new belt.

removed frt cover & drum, replaced solenoids, cleaned the unit interior

It is a washer/dryer combo. First I unplugged the unit. I had to remove the top and front of the dryer, remove the belt and remove the drum. I then removed the side panel that the motor was on. That was a little tricky getting at a couple of the screws. I then took the flywheel off which was somewhat difficult. It screws off in the opposite direction and was hard to get loose. I unplugged the motor, no wires to connect. There is a clip on the front and back of the motor holding it in place. Take them off and the motor comes right out. Replace the new motor and screw the flywheel back on. Install the clips, plug the motor in and put everything back as you took it apart.

Raised top of dryer and removed screws holing front on. slid front panel up and off to remove drum. Seal was easy to install but you do have to be careful with the adhesive. After adhesive was dry laid dryer on it's back and installed drum. Reinstalled drum belt. Placed front panel back on and installed the two screws holding it in place. Set dryer upright and closed top.

Easy, screw driver (flathead) popped up two clamps on each side of top. maybe 3" from each side. Propped lid up with I think I used a full roll of paper towels, part was inside top left, unscrewed old,used small hook tool to unplug old, put new checked to see if it worked and bang lower top pop in place.NOTE : I am pretty good with fixing little things like this.. PLease UNPLUG for safety first then take time and be happy when you save $ on doing it yourself.

My suggestion is to read all of the items that may result in no heat, or insufficient heat, you will find your problem in one of the reply's and the right part to replace. The repair was made much easier, as I installed a Maintenance kit at the same time. Drum rollers, drive belts and tensioner. With the drum out, the coil retaining clip was a LOT easier to re-instal. If the drum isn't out, you can lift the drum up a little and squeeze a stubby screw driver in to loosen the retaining screws. You have to use the proper size screwdriver so you don't strip the screws, and maybe a pair of gas pliers around the handle of the screwdriver to give it a little torque to help loosen the screws, while keeping downward pressure on the screwdriver.

The on-line instructions were excellent; however, the man doing the demonstration used a brand new machine - not one where the old seals had melted and dried out and required serious cleaning before attaching the new seals. The new seals went on easily and I am very happy with everything about this task. I am also glad I now know what that lint chute looks like, so I'll do a better job of keeping it clean in the future.

I watched the video multiple times until I was comfortable. He made it look so easy. I'm convinced the dryer was using had been "prepped" to come apart and go back together easily. The reality for me: Great difficulty popping the cabinet top. It took every ounce of power to push in the hinges. Disconnecting the existing switch was difficult. I depressed in the catches on each side, but of course one at a time since I only have two hands. I tried various rigs to get both pushed in at once - nothing. Finally I watched a different vendor's video and the technique he used worked for me. Lastly, screwing in the new part is darn near impossible upside down to screw it in straight. The screws also wouldn't go in flush with the surface. I got them in well enough to hold, but that's it. The good news, the choice of part was correct and it fixed the problem. Had it now, I would have gone to Plan B and ordered a different part and paid another $9 shipping on top of the part. In my next life, I'm going to marry a appliance repairman.

I just knew it had to be the heat sensor unable to activate the actual ignition. I following the directions and video for the installation of the heat sensor #PS344761. It went very smoothly. Upon completion of the installation, the click, then the flame roared to life and I felt like a real do-it-selfer!! This was short lived. The wetness of the clothes had no effect. Something I did not do and I certainly know better was to check and see what was taking place before I replaced the "damaged" sensor. No, I was just so sure there was no need of that. You say, put the old back in and watch what happens....I recycled the old one immediately. Sigh! We have had two weeks of rain and I'm really tired of damp clothes everywhere. I will read other alternatives and report back. DClark, TX

Pulled up a You-Tube vid on how to install the belt. Went perfect.

I pulled up the "How To" on the internet and it gave me step by step instructions. I only had to deal with 4 screws. Yaaayy! It was a good experience and the piece was perfect.

i first watched a video on U-Tube and did exactly as they did. removed screws from the lint tray, pried up the top panel of the dryer with my putty knife, unscrewed the 2 hex screws at the top, disconnected the plug for the dryer door,and installed the new belt it really was pretty easy. the only thing I would recomend would be when installing the belt put towel or anything that would protect your arm from the botttom piece of sheet metal. I got a pretty good cut on my forearm while I was putting the belt on the bottom pully.

unplugged dryer and removed front panel. removed the screw that holds flame sensor and unplugged electrical wires. then replaced with new. Did not solve problem so I ordered the replacement coil kit and installed them using phillips screw driver and this solved problem. Dryer is working fine now. I found this site very helpful and would recommend it to a friend.

First I replace the Radiant Flame Sensor, but the problem remain. Then replace the two coils and the igniter. Dryer works like it should. If I were to do it over, I would have replaced all 4 components to start with. Thanks for good advice and great service.
