found out that pushing in on wheel and turning counter clock wise, wheel screws off rather easy.

Well it took me longer to get the dryer apart and than it did to get it back together... Well I opened it up it was obvious I had burned up the motor you couldn't even see it for all the lint that was built up around it... And the hardest part was removing the fan from the motor shaft, I didn't realize it was plastic and sort of mangled it getting it off so I went ahead and replaced it as well. The hardest part of the whole repair was removing and replacing the clips that hold the motor in place and there didn't seem to be any trick to it, I used a pair of channel locks and a little muscle to get them off and back on everything else was a breeze! I recommend checking the exhaust pipe at least once a year to make sure air is flowing freely to prevent the lint build up inside and even more often if you have a long run. This should prevent having this problem again...

First disconnect power to the machine. Remove lower access door locate the igniter connector and disconnect it. Now, remove the screw holding the igniter to the mounting bracket with a 5/16" box wrench, carefully remove the igniter. Replace the old mounting bracket but first start the igniter mounting screw in the new bracket, threading it in all the way and then removing it to make installation easier. Install the new bracket and then the igniter, Be very careful, the igniter is fragile. Holding the igniter securely, install the mounting screw. Reconnect the wire connector replace lower door and plug the machine in. Voila! heat!!

Read the Use & Care Guide! I spent several hours trying to repair a dryer that was not broken because I was unaware of the "lint signal". While replacing a burnt out heater element I apparently disturbed the flapper on the lint signal box and it stuck in the open position. My wife who does the laundry has always kept the lint filter clean so we had never heard the lint signal and I assumed that the high pitched sound I was hearing must have been from a faulty gasket, belt, roller, pully, or motor. Boy is my face red!

The repair could not have went better. Did just as video showed and it was up and running in 10 min..The video was very helpfull.

The hardest part is figuring out how to get the unit open. You have to take out the brackets that appear to hold on the timer section and you have to remove the screws under the lint filter. Once you have the top off then you remove the screws that hold the front panel on from the inside. I decided not to remove the drum it seemed like a lot of hassle, instead I went down and got a right angle screwdriver, the terminal valves are in the front of the unit and you only have to remove 2 screws to remove the retainer which holds them both in place. The drum is in the way so you can't use a regular screwdriver and the right angle is a bit slow going but I think it is actually faster than removing and replacing the drum for a novice like myself. Replacing the coils took about 2 minutes and then reassembly another half hour. But the Dryer works great again and for $70 it was well worth it.

Watched the how to video on the parts select site. The job to replace the motor was easy although I had some issues with the blower fan wheel as it is made of plastic and was frozen to the motor, yes I turned it the correct way for the left hand threads. I ended up distroying the blower fan wheel and had to buy a new one. I had to remove the rear plate to get at the fan component, but thta was easy to do also. This site should add a "Sometimes bought together" comment for the motor replacement. After all was done I read some of the other comments and found some others had the same problem with the fan wheel. Once I had all the parts the dryer went back together fairly quickly. The job was easy to do and I would believe almost anyone could do it.

DISCONNECT dryer from power source. Removed 2 screws holding lint filter housing, pulled top cover forward to release the two plastic keepers, raised the top cover. Disconnected two wires from the door switch, removed two screws holding front pannel assembly, slightly raised off of two hooks and removed. Supported drum by placing a strap from one side top under drum to the other side top. Removed broken belt. Vacuume any lint from under and around drum. Slid new belt over drum, under drum stuck folded end of belt through tensioner and on to motor pulley. Reinstalled front pannel assembly by lowering onto two hooks near bottom, removed support strap, reinstalled the two screws, hooked up wirind to door switch, lowerew top back in place inserted two screws back into lint filter housing. Plugged up to power supply. Test operate.

According to your site, we purchased the Door Switch and the Thermal Fuse as these two parts had the highest percent of "what could be wrong". Figured we would send one back if we didn't use it. The Door Switch was replaced first and the dryer worked! Two days later, the dryer stopped working again. Still had the Thermal Fuse so we changed that out. The dryer worked again! Both parts arrived sooner than excepted! Both parts were simple to replace! The diagrams were very handy. The picture of the parts assisted greatly and the video's were the icing on the cake! VERY glad that we ordered both! Will recommend to everyone! PartSelect is bookmarked should we ever need your assistance in the future!

We bought a slightly used dryer, which kept running when the door was open. Trying to get the lid off, I broke one of the clips that held the top on. I gave up, and went to the internet. PartSelect made it easy to find my model and a list of all of the parts. They also had an on-line video that showed me the location of the secret screws that I couldn't find that led me to breaking the clip. After watching the video, the job was insanely easy! I was also surprised that their web site estimated the delivery of the parts at 1.8 days. Disassembled entire unit, vacuumed out all the lint & dust.Removed beater bars from drum and cleaned. Removed old / broken igniter replaced belt. Re assembled.

Replaced the flame sensor since it was believed to be the problem contributing to the lack of flame in this gas dryer. However, this part did not correct the problem.
