Replacing broken stovetop knobs
The very old stovetop came with our house. It works fine but two of the four knobs broke recently. I never found the model number so I made my best guess based on the detailed descriptions on partsselect.com. I guessed right! My 13-year-old son did the install in just about a minute. The only thing I had to do was use a sharpie to blacken out some of the markings on the new knobs. The on and off lines didn't line up for my old stovetop. It was an easy fix and we're really happy.

burned oven bulb
The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.
