Pulled knob,removed 2 screws removed wire,removed old ignitor repl. With new reversed procedure,done

Purchased a 1999 RV discovered the oven was misssing a rack and we were unable to use.
Located the part, ordering was easy. The rack arrived and fits perfect in the oven like it was made for it.

Removed what was left of the original clips. Pressed in the new clips and snapped in the themostat blub

This is a small RV cooktop. There is no pilot light but each burner will light using the spark type ingitor twist knob. Raise the front of the stove cooktop. It is on a hinge. Replace the ignitor assembly using existing screws. There is a very small anchor pin on the ignitor assy. which protrudes 1/16" from the base. The anchor pin hole had not been drilled into the stove face plate which prevents the ignitor assembly from twisting when engaged. So I drilled a 3/16 anchor pin hole exactly where required. It is important to be exact so as to align the installation screw holes in the face plate. These holes can be enlarged if need be however. Align the pin with the anchor hole and install the 2 existing screws. Attach the ignitor lead to the ignitor assy. and install the new knob. Close the stove top and start cooking.

easy replaced after giving proper model and serial numbers. They were very helpful sending pictures so i could choose which knob might work as they had two for the same model number. Make sure that gas is turned offf to appliance.I had to remove the top of the range and use adjustable wrench to loosen the two gas tubes. Then use screww driver to remove valve from gas feed tube ( oh - make sure to turn of gas at apppliance gas valve). I then had to use the adjustable wrnech for removing the flange.

Caution should be used when reinstalling the tubing. Also test all jionts with soapy water.

Removed igniter wire, 2 screws, removed old igniter and reversed procedure, checked spark
and then lit burner. Easy, Easy

I removed the igniter cable from the old knob. Removed 2 screws and the old knob, installed the new knob with 2 screws and plugged in the igniter cable. Works like a CHAMP!!! Must be an Oklahoma State University Football igniter and knob!! 2001 Big 12 Champions!!!!!

The igniter on our RV stove top failed after 4 years of operation. The repair took about 8 minutes and everything works fine.

So simple would be embarrassed to give any instructions; it is so self evident.

The old knob simply slides off the shaft. I aligned the fins on the back of the new knob with the grooves on the shaft of the ignitor and pressed the new knob on.

Pull off wire and outer knob. Take out 2 screws and reverse process to install new part. Easy and works fine.

I was very impressed with the ease in ordering the part, and the speed of delivery. All I needed was a second oven rack so that when I bake cookies, I can bake two trays instead of one, I get done in half the time now. Thank you Part Select!!!
