Tilted the machine back. Done carefully the hoses can all stay connected. Removing the pump from the motor first makes it easier to access the clamps on the hoses. Be sure to have a pan handy to catch the excess water out of the drain hose when you disconnect it. Connect the hoses to the new pump. rotate the shaft on the motor to line it up with the hole in the back of the pump. Clip the pump back in place, set the washer back in place and it's all over. It took me more time to file this repair story than it did to perform the repair.

Unplugged washer. Used paint scrapper to pop each side of control panel loose. Used nut driver to remove grounding screw. Pulled small gray tab toward front to pop switch loosen switch and pop it out. Lowered lid about half way to ensure cover arm engaged the switch as I snapped switch into switch cut out. Tighened ground screw with nut driver and plugged washer back into wall outlet. Snapped control panel back down.

Popped the drain lines off the old pump....installed the new pump....reattached the drain lines.....worked like brand new...praise God! :-)

Easy as 123... unscrewed the top agitator, removed the parts and replaced. This part cost me about $3.00 and the repair call the last time was $250.00. I guess I would call it a profitable day!

Simply removed the agitator and replaced dog ears. Really easy!

After watching some on-line vids, I determined it was the center post, or tub, gasket at the bottom. A cheap part, and easy to snap-out the old and snap-in the new - But - I had to dissassemble the washer into individual washer component molecules. Luckily, I'd done this recently to replace the clutch drive, then the motor, then this. Not too bad, really. Washer body off (2 screws and two snap-links); agitator out (7/16" socket on extension); bang off tub nut (heavy hammer and punch); bang off drive block (hammer again); and pull tub up an out. Tub drain disconnected (pliers); pull off level sensing tube; three spring mounts (nutdriver); then just yank tub up. Poke out Centerpost gasket; snap in a new one; reassemble. Piece of cake.

Followed the video that was attached to the link where i ordered my part. Seriously, could not have been easier!! Thank you so much!!

After a little research on line, I knew to remove the fabric softener cup, pull out the clear plastic divider, unscrew the agitator bolt, pop off the construction clips, slide a plate down a bit, remove the old cogs, put in the new, return all the pieces to their places, screw the bolt back in place and now it works perfectly. I also bought a cabinet clip, spacer & screw that I will use at a later date. This repair went quickly and easily.

From the central column, pull off the fabric softener dispenser (of course, with the machine off). Reach in and pull out the seal (looks like a diaphram). Using a socket, undo the bolt and pull out the plastic ratchet assembly. I found the 4 dogs in bad condition, ordered them, and received them in a couple days. Replace the old dogs and reassemble. Only the bolt requires a tool. Much simpler and cheaper than I had anticipated.

2nd time partselact has saved my ~13 year old washer for a total of ~40$ Entered the symptom and they told me more than likely what to look for and VIOLA ! Would've been easy to spend $200 each time my washer quit working but with a suggestion from a menu and even a video to show me how I revived my old $400 AMERICAN made washer to wash another day. replaced the agitator directional cap by simply removing the top of agitagor. unscrewing a bolt, slipprd off broken peice, slid new peice in place, and rescrewed it in. Voila washer runs and agitates as it should

I watched a u-tube video from a repair man by the name of angel // this man is a detacated mechanic knows his job //used his diagnostics and the job was a piece of cake // he covers every aspect of all problems //// praise to angel ////

After repair, had to re-align the front head of the cabinet several times to get it to slide in correctly.I saved myself the cost of a repair service call. Followed instructions at the following youtube.

Very easy - less than 30 min. Followed installation video available on PartSelect website, except did not have to disconnect all hoses or lay on back. Left washer in place all connected and raised up on blocks about 6" off floor. Removed cabinet as per video instructions. Changed pump as per video instructions. Video from website was crucial to easy repair. Would not have known how to release cabinet latches and remove cabinet without video. Cabinet was off in 3 min. and entire job was less than 30 min.
