How to change the oil
For model number 10732
Hi Ron,
Thank you for your question. According to your owner's manual, to change the oil, tip the lawn mower on its side, with the dipstick down, to drain the used oil out through the oil-fill tube. Then remove the dipstick. Once the oil has been removed, set the mower back down on its wheels. Pour about 3/4 of the crankcase capacity of oil into the oil-fill tube. Note: Max. fill: 0.59 L (22 oz), type: 10W-30 or SAE30 detergent oil with an API service classification of SJ or higher. Wipe off the dipstick end with a clean cloth. Insert the dipstick into the oil-fill tube, but do not screw it in. Remove the dipstick and read the oil level on the dipstick. If the oil level is low, add a small amount of oil slowly to the oil-fill tube, and then wipe off the dipstick again with a clean cloth and insert it back in and recheck the oil level. Repeat this until the oil level on the dipstick is correct. If the oil level is high, drain the excess oil until the oil level on the dipstick is correct. Important: If the oil level in the crankcase is too low or too high and you run the engine, you may damage the engine. Once you have finished, install the dipstick securely and recycle the used oil properly. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
