Door to the ice shute broken with worn out parts.
Took two screwdrivers and inserted bottom of bezel pryed up and out gently. Removed (4) screws and unpluged (3) electronic plugs removing the circuit board. After you remove bezel & circuit board you have a chance to see what you are doing and get to the problem area with more ease. Remove old parts and reverse it putting the new parts. Process is very simple just pay attention to the order everything was removed. On my frig one of the plastic ears that hold the pin which holds the spring and door was broke. The piece I needed was no longer avaliable. I had to use a piece of the plastic from the old parts I removed, drilled a hole the size of the pin in it and glued it to the broken off ear. Put everything back together and I am pleased to say that everything works fine! So you might need to go a little MacGyver on it. All in all very simple fix.

Needed a new bulb under the microwave.
After unplugging the microwave and removing the screw, I removed the old bulb and put in the new one!! I made sure it was in securely and the difference in the light was awesome! I use this light when I bake bread and let it rise inside the microwave, but DO NOT turn it on. The heat from this light helps the bread to rise properly!!

The ice maker was not making ice
The ice maker was replaced easily with the help of the repair video. However, that did not fix the problem. With further investigation I found that the more common problem was the emitter boards. I replaced the new ice maker assembly with the old one and ordered the emitter boards. Partselect allow easy return of the new ice maker and I received the emitter boards and easily replaced them and ice is making as I type. Great experience and supper helpful repair videos.

Ice maker auger not moving
very simple to remove 2 screws inside door at the top of the ice maker auger shaft, I then pulled straight up on the shaft which disenged it from the motor. Installed the new shaft by placing it in the same position as the one just removed, replaced the plastic cover with the 2 screws, and everything worked fine. It was obviouse looking at the old shaft that it's corners were rounded and that caused it to slip

Unit did not go in as easily as the video showed.
In the freezer on the upper left hand side is a small spr ing loaded door that opens when you open the door and closes when the ice maker container makes contact with it.The video did not show the worker making contact with the door or even addressing the potential problem of the door continually staying open as you try to fit the ice maker into the space vertically as the videe showes. What happened is that I almost broke the door off just trying to fit the maker into its tracks. I finally taped the door closed so I could fit the maker in. I used painters blue tape and so far it is still working. The ice maker is working also. Either make the installer aware of how to temporarily stop the door from inteferring with the install or just have him tape it before he starts to install the new maker.

Foam had torn off the flap door and the black thingy had broken.
Pulled off front. Detached wires without getting electrocuted. Marked them first so I'd know where they go. Pushed up the thing with wires so I could see the flap door. It had a heat thing in the flap which my replacement part didn't have, so I had to pull it out of the broken flap and insert in the new flap. Snapped flap door in place. Attached black thing loop to white thing. DIdn't use the spring or the white thing. Reattached wires and put on front piece. Everything now works. No more frost in the freezer!!!

Ice Maker had stopped making ice
Repair was fairly easy to do and service from Partselect was great - part delivered in two days. Two comments to add: 1) the water tube coming down from the top of the ice box into the replacement icemaker was too long (because the "water cup" was higher on the replacement). I just cut a piece of plastic out of the back of the cup so that the icemaker would slide in (still leaving plenty of cup to catch the water). 2) Because the icemaker had been off for several days, ice had formed in the water line just above the icemaker. I had to thaw this ice before water would run into the icemaker.

Light did not come on (bad bulb!) on TC18KL
I have never before seen a bulb with the filament intact not light. If the bulb's filament seems intact, screw the bulb into a known working lamp and see if it lights. When screwing it back into the socket in the fridge, it takes a bit of extra effort to fully seat (until it does, it won't light!). For replacing the switch, I unplugged the unit, used a paint scraper and worked it under the switch bezel from the right side. A bit of moxie, and the switch came out. The replacement switch had a different spade contact spacing than the original. I used a pair of scissors to cut the rubber bridge between the two switch wire connectors so I could connect to the new switch. In the end, it turned out to be the bulb. NOTE: The Model TC18KL is _not_ listed! What I finally found that the number "P7803211WL" on the sticker is actually a manufacturing code. Found this out by searching, and Sears' part search came up with matches.
