Refrigerator Door Not Closing
All you need is nut driver. Top hinge has 3 screws. Once you remove the screws, lift door. It is light. I place door of my sofa. I removed screws and pried the cam insert with a spatula. You can also you flat screwdriver. I also replace the other piece located at bottom of refrigerator. Now place door back onto metal rest. May need someone near floor to guide you. Once on the rest, close door and replace top screws. Forgot to mention that I emptied door shelves before removing door.

Refrigerator Door wont close
Followed the Partselect instructions - removed door, removed old cam and replaced with new cam. One lesson learned. There are two cams - one that sits on hinge below door and one that is up inside bottom of door. If you are replacing one, replace them both.

Would not make ice
It started out being a disappointment. I just moved into a new place that needs many repairs so I didnt want to spend too much time on this one. I ordered this part which arrived in just a few days. Not knowing exactly what was broken I just ordered the whole thing. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was that one of the parts of the new ice maker had a big crack in it. Not wanting to go through the hassle of boxing it up and going through the return process, I started taking it apart and replacing the worn or broken owned, (exactly why I ordered the entire unit). Nevertheless, I wanted ice so I fixed it with some of the new ones and some of the old ones. By now I've paid too much for the unit but it was my choice not to send it back and I now have ice. It was pretty easy to fix once I had the parts.

Both light bulbs had been replaced, but lights did not turn on.
I tried to remove the old light switch using a putty knife and a hammer. It was hard to compress the plastic tabs to pull it back through the hole, but all of a sudden, the lights came on. I guess banging on the switch freed-up the contacts. The new switch is now a spare part in case I need it.

Broke the arm off the food compartment rocker switch
After receiving the new part almost immediately, using two screw drivers, removed the broken switch from the plastic frame. Be careful not to scratch or otherwise tear the plastic...very pliable. Since the original switch was factory installed and the wires were packed in fiberglass insulation, the switch came out but the wires and clips were still in place and could not reach the new switch. It was necessary to pull them down with bent long nose pliers...used a lot of "pull" but the wires held up.Connected the switch, turned the power on and there was light! Reports from other users really took the uncertainty out of the task.

Loud, non-rythmic clicking noise shortly after the compressor comes on, continuing for several seconds.
Replaced the "Run Capacitor. The non-rythmic clicking associated with the compressor coming on continues. The problem was obviously not the Run Capacitor". I don't know what to do next. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Phillip
