Ice maker not working
Our ice maker would work a few days then it would freeze up because it ran to much water in. I finally called Parts Select. The gentleman found the correct parts right away and I had them in two days. Took about 30 minutes to change out with a new unit. Only cost about 120 dollars. If I had known it would of been that easy and that cost effective I never would have took the time to un thaw it so many times with the blow dryer. Buy the new one, quick repair and gets rid of the head ache. Besides you will have ice when you need it. Good luck

Opened the freezer door. Removed the ice bin from the freezer compartment. Removed with a nutdriver the two screws holding down the shaft holder (the triangular white plastic piece). Removed the shaft holder and the circular seal underneath. Pulled the hexagonal metal shaft up and out of the dispenser motor. I accidentally broke the arm that distributes the cubes to the ice bucket about a year ago. Just recently, the malfunction caused the entire thing to freeze up because the frozen cubes weren't cleared from the ice tray.
Remove 1 screw from the cover that hides the wiring harness, pull out the assembly and disconnect it. Swap the bottom mounting tray to the new ice maker and reverse the process. Way easier than I anticipated. No need to freeze your hands in the freezer, once you have the old one out you're working on the counter.

Ice would not dispense through front of door. There was no sound when the lever was pushed either, however, the water dispenser next to it worked fine.
Remove drip tray, remove two screws under drip tray and remove trim piece around dispensers. The micro switch is located at top right corner; slide it off the small post that holds it in place. Remove wire from switch (be gentle so you don't break wire, mine was on pretty tight. My switch was clearly burned out (black on connections). Anyway, just click wire back on new switch and push back on the post that holds it in place. Put back trim, screws and drip tray. The whole thing took a few minutes....I am no repair man but there were two switches on the post next to one another, I imagine the other controls the water dispenser in the event it had the same problem? If I had removed the trim piece and looked before ordering the part I probably would have swapped them out to confirm the problem was definitely the switch...I assume you could do that because they appear identical but can't say for sure. However, all indicators pointed to the switch anyway. Part was inexpensive and Part Select got it right out to me.

Ice dispenser would not spin, shaft worn down
The hexagonal shaft had been worn down so that the edges no longer could be gripped by the teeth on the ice dispenser bucket. Remove the the two screws underneath the bucket. Use pliers (if needed) to pull out ht sold shaft. Slide in the new shaft, and twist until it drops into place. Replace the two screws and you're all set!

My refrigerator water supply stop.
I repaired exactly the way it was explained by Partselect on youtube video. Pulled the fridge from the wall, turn off cold water supply, unscrewed the valve from side of the fridge, as I disconnected the power lines one at the time I inserted it on the new one and I disconnected the water tubing one at the time I inserted on the new valve so I would not get confuse later then I inserted the filter tubing that goes from the valve to the filter, then replaced the filter with a new one once there and the job was done. Nothing to it, in the past I hired a technician and charged me $395.00 ; $65.00 for consultation, $95.00 to installed it and $235.00 for the water inlet valve. Is that a rip-off of what? This time it only cost me $35.00 for the valve did it myself with youtube-partselect video. It was so helpful. Do your homework and don't let nobody steal you blind.

icemaker stopped working
Replaced the icemaker control assembly and ice mold. Icemaker is working perfectly now. We replaced the ice mold (tray) because my husband read on the internet that the ice mold loses its nonstick coating and the ice sticks to the mold, and eventually burns out the control assembly.
