Broken Handle & Trim On Fron Crisper

To replace the freezer handle, I just removed the 2 screws that hold the handle in place then I replaced the handle with the 2 screws. Refrigerator handle got a scratch

We didn't know how to remove the damaged handle and attach the new one to the freezer door. We had planned calling Whirlpool's Customer Service dept. for instructions. However, we didn't need to. By looking at the handle ends my husband new what to do. He applied pressure to the old handle in a certain angle pulling it from the freezer door, and it came out easily. Then to install the new handle he applied pressure pushing against the door until it clicked right in place. The new handle attached to the door perfectly and it's very firm in place.
