This drawer slide supports the drawer inside the freezer of your refrigerator and allows it to slide back and forth smoothly. This specific slide is installed on the left side and cannot be installed on the right side of the freezer. This slide measures approximately 15 inches long and is made of white plastic. If your current drawer slide is broken and unable to support the drawer inside your freezer, it must be replaced immediately for the drawer to safely move and be supported. Replacing this slide only requires a screwdriver to disconnect the old one and install the new one. LG Refrigerator Drawer Slide Rail
Took a look of broken plastic slides to see how they were mounted before unsnapping them off the shelf, also compared with new slides before continuing. Unsnapped broken plastic slides by pressing the plastic clips off the shelf, pressing with my fingers, no tools used.
Installed new slides the same way old slides were. Slides have a top and bottom, so make sure to compare before unsnapping them off. When aligned, they snap right in.
Installed the shelf back in the fridge with all the items that were on it, then slid the drawer back in and VIOLA! back like new.
VERY EASY, no tools needed for my fridge, not sure for different fridges. Read more...
