This is a high-limit thermostat for various models of LG microwave ovens. This thermostat acts as a preventative safety device and is designed to cut off continuity for the microwave oven if/when its temperature exceeds a certain threshold. If you are noticing dangerously high temperatures coming from your microwave oven, make sure to turn it off and test this thermostat with a multimeter for continuity, to ensure it is still working properly. If not, it needs to be replaced immediately. This thermostat is sold individually and does not come with any other parts or securing screws.
