Seal-O Ring
PartSelect Number PS9294749
Manufacturer Part Number 691917
The Seal-O Ring, also known as the gasket, is red in color, made of rubber, and is an OEM part that requires some skill to replace. This part is designed to create a seal between the carburator and manifold, to prevent air from entering. If your engine loses power, creates a hissing noise, or if the gasket appears damaged or your engine running improperly it may be time to replace the part.
If you run the engine and spray the outside of the carburator with soapy water, you can test whether or not the gasket is leaking by listening to the sounds produced. If the sound smooths out then you've found your leaky gasket. Damage may occur over time, especially if the part dries out, and make the part appear stretched or worn out.
When making this medium-difficulty repair, make sure the new gasket is fitted properly between the carburetor and intake manifold.

O Ring-16mm
PartSelect Number PS9058832
Manufacturer Part Number 670D2016
This O-ring, also known as a round seal, is an authentic OEM part used in lawn and garden equipment. It is a small, circular, rubber ring that helps create an airtight seal between the oil filter filler and engine to prevent leaking and ensure adequate lubrication. It is common for the O-ring to become brittle and lose its elasticity due to aging, and exposure to chemicals and high temperatures in the equipment. If an O-ring fails, it can result in oil leakage, leading to reduced equipment performance, and potential damage to the surrounding components. Carefully the oil ring off the sealing surface and clean the area thoroughly to ensure a proper seal for the new O-ring. Lightly lubricate the new O-ring and press it on to the sealing surface.
