The dryer was squeaking loudly
I looked on you tube and was able to determine the cause and order the parts I needed to rectify the issue. I removed the the top panel and the front panel. I replaced the bearing.

General Electric Dryer Drum Slide
2. Using phillips head screwdriver. Removed two screws holding down top of machine.
3. Swung machine top lid back.
4. Disconnect two wires from door switch.
5. Using socket wrench removed two hex head machine screws holding front panel onto machine.
6. While reaching in through door to hold drum, Swung entire front panel down and away from machine and carefully rested drum on frame.
7. Using flat head screwdriver, pryed worn drum bearing off of front panel.
8. Removed Support Spanner (white flexible plastic piece approx 8" x 2") from old drum bearing and put on new drum bearing.
9. Put new teflon drum slides (this model takes 3) on replacement drum bearings.
10. Snapped new drum bearing in place on front panel.
11. Reverse step 1-6 above.

Loud scraping noise when drum rotated
1. Opened door.2. Using phillips head screwdriver. Removed two screws holding down top of machine.

Lift the lint filter and slide the 2 hooked ends into the 2 holes provided . Front end is locked in as other end is suspended .

noise in drum
i took the front load dryer apart found the parts that were bad ordered the parts which were a snap at partsselect at first i thought it would be tuff to put back together but the site has good pictures i put the dryer back together but had a tuff time with the belt after i watched a video it went right together i found that taking pictures with my cell phone while taking things apart helped a lot when putting it back together all in all im proud of myself i didnt think i could do it but i did and the dryer works great i will be using the site again i used it a few months ago for my washer it it worked great too!!

This is the replacement drum baffle for your dryer. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 14 inches by 4 inches.
