This is one of three pieces in the entire lint filter assembly, along with the lint filter guide and filter itself, which are both sold separately from this. This guide cover is made entirely of plastic and measures approximately 16 inches wide. If the lint filter assembly for your dryer is broken, chipped, or cracked, and ultimately cannot perform efficiently anymore, covers like this must be replaced immediately. This cover comes individually and without any accompanying parts, so be sure to check your lint filter assembly for the necessary parts before ordering.

This is a dryer door hinge cap, also known as a bushing, which is a durable plastic cap that is installed on the door hinge and is used to allow your dryer door to operate smoothly when opening and closing. If the door for your dryer is not properly opening and closing, this cap needs to be replaced immediately. To replace this door hinge bushing, you will need a screwdriver to remove and disassemble the door for your dryer. Dryer Lint Filter Guide Cover

Located just inside the dryer door. The guide cover (or grill cover) is where the hot air circulates through the appliance. This part may crack or become damaged over time, causing clothes to get caught on it while it is in motion. Open the dryer door, remove the lint screen, and remove the screen using your screwdriver. Line up the new grill cover with the moisture sensor and the housing on either side, and it should snap into place. Once it is firmly in place, use your screwdriver to put the screws back in.
