The rack track stop on your dishwasher is designed to stop the dish rack at the appropriate place when opening and closing the rack. If your dishwasher is not cleaning your dishes properly, the rack stop may need to be replaced. The replacement part may differ slightly from the broken part, depending on the model. However, the different styles are interchangeable. This product is sold individually and comes in both a white and grey plastic version. Many of our customers found this repair to be very easy and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Simply snap the old part out and snap the new part into place. You will not require any tools to complete the job. This is an authentic part approved by the manufacturer.

Upper rack wheels had begun to break off. Shoddy design and materials.

I carefully followed the video instructions step by step. They were detailed, clear, and pointed out how to avoid installation mistakes. WIthout the video I would have been tempted to just figure it out myself - ("Hey, I'm a handy guy. How hard could it be, right?"). With the video I sailed right through with no dumb errors. bottom rack needed replacing

Just took it out of the box and slid it in.
Only problem I encountered, and I think it was due to the age of the dishwasher, was the newunit was not as deep as teh original rack. This will require a new method of loading dishes. Also, the new basket doesn't really fit well in the new rack.

upper rack would not pull out easily

Replaced both "tracks" and the "wheels" .
Now it's like new....!!
My wife is so happy

Removed the track end caps from the tracks so I could pull out the tracks.
Removed the upper wash rack that holds dishes.
Only by removing this rack can the wheels be replaced, if I tried to replace them with the rack attached to the dishwasher I had to bend forward painfully.
Replace the old rales with new ones.
Attach new wheels to the upper rack in such a way as to allow the rack to roll inside the new rales.
Replace the end caps.

The gray upper dishrack kit is a replacement for select dishwasher models. It securely holds dishes, cups, and utensils during the wash cycle. This kit does not come pre-assembled, so some parts from the original rack may need to be transferred. If your dishwasher does not have an adjustable rack, you will need to reuse the rollers from your old rack. Adjustable rollers may prevent proper alignment with the rear feed tube. This updated version may look slightly different from the original but functions the same. please note this is only the dishrack.

Replaced old dish racks that had rusted and had broken tines.

Took the old wheels, and other parts from the old racks and installed them on the new. The wheels on the lower rack just snap on. Also the folding tines just snapped on. On the upper rack the brackets that hold the wheels have two screws that hold the bracket. I removed them and then installed the bracket on the new rack in the same position as on the old one. The only hard part was getting the old spray arm off the old rack. I had no directions so I had to figure it out for myself. I finally cut the the old rack to get the pressure tower off. It was stuck because of having been in place for more than ten years. Putting the tower and the arm on the new rack was no problem once I had it removed. Total time to do the job about 45 minutes. Tines were broken and rack was damaged

Removed the retaining clips on the front of the rail and removed the old rack.

Removed the spray arm assembly from the old rack.

Assembled the new rack, with the supplied parts from the kit. Using the old rack to know where some parts needed to be placed.

Put the spray arm assembly on the new rack.

This is a rail stop for your dishwasher. No tools are required for this repair. it simply pops on and off the end of your slide rail when pressing the locking tab. This part is sold individually, so it is recommended to check the opposite rail stop on your dishwasher in case it needs to be replaced as well. The rail stop is located at the end of the upper slide rails which hold the upper dishrack in place. The rail stop prevents the upper rack from sliding completely off the slide rails. The repair was similar to the very good video provided by PartSelect. However, I did make a few changes. The new rack was slightly different in the front side compared to the old rusted rack. After I removed the old rack from the dishwasher, I placed the two racks side-by -side to make sure they were compatible. They were identical in the rear structure and overall size, so I proceeded to change out the wheel racks, rack height adjusters and upper wash arm to the new rack. I suggest transferring each part one at a time so you can get the spacing correct. Also, in my case, many of the items needed to be washed with water to remove soap buildup in these parts before moving to the new rack. I would also suggest putting the upper wash arm (needed in this case) on the new rack last. The total job took me about an hour including washing or rinsing all parts and reassembly. This is an easy job, just take your time and do one item at a time so nothing gets mixed up. I used a drill driver to remove a total of 4 Phillip head screws for the rack height adjusters but a regular Phillip head screw driver would work as well. Read more...
