This is an old cooktop. It says it is an Electrolux. It works fine but the knobs over time have melted spots and no letters left on them. There are 5 total and I can't find them anywhere. Please advise

gas ignitor continued to run after turned on or off
Removed all of the grates, control knobs and gas diffusers. Unscrew the drip pans, two on each pan, which attach the pans to the gas supply. Raised the drip pans from the top and unplugged the ignitors from all pans. Remove the top and the rubber deflector over the ignitor switch. The ignitor switch snaps off and on. One of the seals under the drip pan was broken and needed replaced. I would recommend ordering these also. Turned out this was a good time to give everything a goo cleaning then replace as removed.

Gas stove won’t light on half the appliance
First we replaced the wiring harness because a multi-meter said it wasn’t getting power. That was only partially true. The wiring harness was burned looking so we just kept it instead of sending it back. When the spark module got here the burner caps were removed and then the wires were noted where they went on the module and then the power and gas were turned off. The spark module was removed and then the stove was tested and we were back in business.
