The microwave sparked. And burned some of the wall of the microwave. I meed to replace the whole thing and need the dimensions of the unit. Any idea why it would spark?
For model number KHMS155LBL0
Hi Benedetta, thank you for your question. For dimensions on your unit you will either have to consult your manual or contact your manufacturer for that information. There are a number of reasons why your appliance might spark. It could be that your wave guide cover is not attached flush with the appliance, thus exposing some of the metal on the inside. If you have any chips or breaks in your inner paint then that could cause the sparking as well. You may also have a faulty diode or capacitor. When doing any repairs on a microwave you must be extremely careful. If you do not properly discharge the capacitor in the appliance you can get electrocuted. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

As one video suggested, I placed a large towel underneath where I was working (over the stovetop) to catch any falling parts but this proved unnecessary. Once I removed the two screws from the end of the door, the ins

The handle was attached with two screws (which I reused, no problem). It took a few minutes to re-insert the inside of the door into the frame, but once that's done, you just re-install the two end screws and you're finished.
