Freezer is plugged into gfi outlet, tripped gfi circuit, could not reset gfi outlet, so replaced gfi outlet , pugged freezer back in to new gfi circuit plug about 48 hours later gfi circuit had tripped again, reset gfi circuit, freezer is running fine again. But is freezer gonna trip breaker again? Or is compressor getting ready to die?

Hello Shawn, thank you for your question. It sounds like one of the compressor switches or the capacitor is causing the unit to overload. We would recommend testing/replacing the following parts. Part #: PS11742407 start, and Part #: PS11739715 overload, and Part #: PS988314 capacitor. I hope this helps.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Overload was open
New part was similar, except contact blade was for a full 1/4", my model utilizes 1/8". So I cut the blade in half with a hacksaw, filed off the rough edges and reassemblied the connector; attached it to the compressor
Now being a retired electronic engineer; who's great idea was it to hide a klixon inside the connector?
