Admiral Freezer Dryer Retaining Ring

This part is a retaining ring, sometimes called a retaining clip, that holds the drum support roller onto the shaft of a dryer. It is made entirely of metal and measures less than an inch in diameter. The retaining ring is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Broken Dryer Knob
First let me just say that Partselect.com is now one my stored favorites in my web browser. I came home from a business trip and saw a pair of pliers on the dryer. I thought that was odd until my wife informed me that the knob on the dryer had broken. So she was using the pliers to select the cycle. Somehow she knew where the missing pointer was actually pointing. Since the dryer was over 5 years old I saw this as an opportunity to upgrade both appliances. Not with my frugal wife. A search of the Internet popped up partselect. I ordered Wednesday morning and the parts where on my doorstep late Thursday. Trust me I was very surprised. Everything worked perfectly. Washing Machine was leaking water
Loosened the hose clamp, removed the injector valve and injector nozzle assembly, replaced both and tightened with new hose clamp. Fixed the problem for less than $20!! Washing machine is 20 years old and this was the first problem--hopefully it is now good for another 20 years!

Black Cam was bren on lower door hinge
This was a very simple job. Remove the top Hinge bracket, a total of 4 screws, lifted the door off the bottom hinge, removed the bottom hinge set up, 2 screws, replaced it, and attached the new bottom black door cam, lifted the door back onto the bottom hinge and aligned the top hinge, and reinserted the screws, and Ta Da, The door works like a new refrigerator door. 15 to 30 min tops. I did not even have to take the refrigerator items out of there door holder.

lower left shelf support was broken
I removed all contents from the lower shelf. I, then removed both of the pull out drawers. Secondly, I removed the lower glass shelf and the glass support tray. At this point all four plastic shelf supports were accessible. I removed the inner screw from all four supports and replaced with four new shelf supports. Then reassembled in reverse order. Very easy to do!

The burner unit slides out easily and after unscrewing the sides, you have to disconnect the wires from the underside of the igniters. The venturi tubes and igniters then unscrew from the underside of the burners which twist right out of the assembly. Re-Assembly is very intuitive looking at it and it all goes right back together as it came out. Took 45 minutes total and that includes fighting with some screws that had rusted onto the burner.
Reading some of the previous reviews, current prices are double to triple what other people did the repair for leading me to believe parts won't be available for much longer. Make the repair while you still can! Read more...

Flames appeared outside of burners
The front burner had a noticible flame coming from the base, so I originally purchased a single burner to replace it (you could see a corroded hole at the bottom). Upon taking the unit apart, I noticed the corrosion was much worse than met the eye.
