Did the end caps break off of your refrigerator door shelf retainer bar?

Not all refrigerators use end caps in their door shelf assemblies. For those that do, two end caps are used per shelf. The end caps attach themselves to either end of the door shelf trim. This piece of trim is often made of metal, and is commonly referred to as a door shelf retainer bar. Refrigerator end caps are relatively simple to replace. Keep in mind the process may vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer.
