Damaged or faulty screw
Disconnect power to the appliance. Identify faulty screws and remove carefully to avoid stripping. Install replacement screw or screws in place, ensuring tightness.
Replacement screw required
Disconnect appliance from power source. Identify faulty screw and remove the part from the appliance. Take new screw and install in place of the old one. Restore power to appliance and test.
Cooktop element not heating
Disconnect power to the range. Remove damaged or defective surface burner. Install new part and restore power. Test for functionality.
Cooktop element will not heat
Disconnect power to the range. Detach old surface burner by disconnecting wiring. Attach new surface burner to stove top. Restore power to the stove and test for functionality.
Oven door won't close
Disconnect power to the oven. Unscrew and remove old broken glide, and screw in new one. Restore power to the oven and test that door now fully closes.
Faulty control knob
Disconnect power to the range. Twist and pull off the offending faulty control knob, discard, and install the new part. Restore power and test range for functionality.
Damaged Control Knob
Pull the old or damaged control knob off the stem, and discard. Push the new control knob onto the vacant stem and test for ease of turning and functionality.
Oven Door Trim Kit damaged
Disconnect power to the range. Remove old trim by unscrewing screws; ensure you do not drop glass panel here. Reinstall new part by screwing it into the place of the old part.
Broiler Pan missing or damaged
Remove old broiler pan from oven. Clean area of grease and burnt food, then take new part and slide broiler into place.
Oven not heating consistently
Disconnect power to the range. Open up the back of the stove and unplug the sensor. Install the new sensor in its place. Replace the back of the stove. Test for appropriate heating.
Oven Rack Dirty or Cracked
Slide out old rack. Thoroughly clean rack guides of grease and burnt matter before sliding new rack in its place.
