Shindaiwa Spreader Discharge Chute Assembly This discharge chute assembly in your spreader directs and controls the even distribution of fertilizer and grass seed across your lawn. It ensures that the material is spread uniformly and precisely, preventing clumps or uneven coverage. Located at the bottom of the spreader, between the outlet and the impeller, it can be adjusted according to its letter-marked settings to control the spread width and direction. If the assembly is dented, deformed, misaligned, or loose, it needs to be replaced to avoid patchy or incomplete coverage. To do so, refer to your user guide for instructions on accessing the assembly. Twist the knobs on both sides of the discharge chute, remove the fasteners securing the settings brackets to the shut-off plate, and detach the assembly. Please note that this assembly is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer and is sold individually and separately from the required hardware for installation.
