Icemaker Control Assembly
PartSelect Number PS2341896
Manufacturer Part Number W10190935
The icemaker control assembly is located in the freezer section of your refrigerator. It is what controls the icemaker. The control turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It controls most of the basic parts and functions, such as the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. This replacement includes the control module and the motor, the motor is not sold separately. There are a number of reasons you might need to replace this part: if the motor is faulty, if any of the gears are worn out, or any of the plastic pieces are broken or damaged. If your icemaker is not functioning properly, you should start by testing this module. Before you begin repairing your refrigerator, make sure it is unplugged.
