Ultra Quick-Start radiant element with glass-ceramic surface for all Designer Line Jenn-Air cooktops. End plug-in cartridge, also available in black.
Note: This model has been replaced by the JEA8120ADW but the replacement is slightly different. This model has a metal frame around its perimeter, while the JEA8120ADW has a completely smooth Ceran top. The newer-style Designer Line cartridges were introduced in 2001, and all new cooktops should use the newer cartridge, and not this cartridge. If you have a cooktop with older-style metal framed cartridges the JEA8120ADW can be used as a replacement, although it will look slightly different.

My old burners pluged in. I pulled out the old burners unpacked the the new burners pluged them in. I turned on the new burners and tested themand they worked!!

I removed the element from the box it was shipped
in. I did this very carefully with two hands and then
plugged the new element into the electrical outlet
and turned on the element using all available
heat cycles. It worked perfectly and was exactly
the same color as the older one.
I suggest you use two hands in performing this
very delicate manuver.............j

Being able to find the right cook top on-line and order it without running around trying to find it in stores was great. Was able to replace old electric burners with new ceramic cook top. Nice to update and easy to 'plug' in the module.
