This oil tank cover set is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in poles saws. It includes one plastic cover, four collars, four Phillips head screws, four metal washers, and one gasket to seal the area between the plastic cover and the tank. The set can be found at the rear end of the pole saw where it is responsible for protecting the oil tank by preventing dirt and debris from entering, and contaminating the oil. Over time the cover and gasket can wear down, crack, or become loose, and unable to protect the tank. This will cause oil leakages, contamination, low cutting power, and eventually total equipment failure. Remove the faulty cover and gasket from the oil tank and clean the surrounding area. Install the new gasket on to the oil tank opening and place the new cover on top of it. Position the four collars into the holes on the cover and then secure the cover to the tank using the screws and washers to complete your repair.
