Can i expect this oven-control to work simply by removing the old one and replacing the new one?

Is there any warranty on this item if installed by a qualified
Kitchen-aid dealer? Also, if this doesn't solve the problem,

The display quit working on our stove before ot quit working it worked fine no issue at all then one day no workie workie. Was going to change display but come to find out thats just a symptom do u think its the controll board?
