Water filter replacement
It's simple enough in theory: read the side of the box and follow the instructions. BUT you need to really push the knob in pretty hard (I am a girl, and my hand strength isn't that good). If you don't, when you turn the knob, the filter won't come out, then it's tougher. So: make sure the knob pops before you turn!

Change the water filter light was on.
It was ridiculously easy. Push the button on the filter canister holder at the base of the refrigerator and the spring-loaded mechanism came out smoothly. I unplugged the old filter, took the cap off the new on and plugged it in. After reinserting the filter canister holder and locking it in place, I heard the whoosh of water once again moving through the filter. Very satisfying and very easy to do.

Washing poorly, leaving particles of food on top of the dishes, not draining completely, ceiling spray arm not spinning (bent up to the ceiling)
The lower spray arm unscrews. From inside the dishwahser, put a screwdriver through the tab slots and unscrew the tower from the floor. It's pretty tight for plastic. The upper spray arm has screws on the top of the dishwasher. You must slide the dishwasher out from underneath the countertop to get to the screws. Normally that's just the two screws above the door that screw into the countertop. Pull the insulation back and unscrew the arm from the top of the dishwasher. Reverse to reinstall. Piston and nut assembly for check valve: Inside the dishwasher at the back there are 2 screws that hold a screen down. Remove the screen. Take out the check valve and replace it. It was still functional in mine, it looked like food gunk had built up on it and impeded the check valve action. The flapper chec is a rubber flap in the drain tube that connects to your sink drain. You have to pull the dishwasher out from under the sink to get to the end of the drain tube that connects to the dishwasher. Take the hose clamp loose and remove the drain tube from the dishwasher. Then unscrew the plastic fitting that you just took the drain tube off of. The flapper chec is there. It had turned brittle and didn't flap anymore. It is a similar setup to the rubber seal at the end of your garden hose.

Ice maker stopped working.
Removed the icemaker to see if I could determine problem; motor was seized; got part numbers and ordered from you; parts arrived next day (even though overnight delivery wasnt' requested - so THANK YOU!); compared new parts to original to be sure of fit; reassembled unit; reinstalled in freezer, and waited for the sound of water filling the tray. Producing like brand new again! Cancelled the service call w/ Sears for the following week (when it was convenient for them) Loved your service!

The wrong filter was sent the first time.
I removed the cap from the filter pushed a lever and removed fliter. I replaced the old filter, removed the caps on the new one and slid it into channel after replacing the outer cap. I removed water from the spigot for 4 mins. and it was ready to go. I pushed the reset button to get the green light to come on.
