Broken latch to open dishwasher
I unscrewed the front panel by using the screws at the top, inside of the dishwasher (I also unscrewed the screws at the bottom, inside, but that wasn't necessary). It took a little coaxing, but I gently pulled one wire at a time from the old unit and replaced that wire before going to the next. After all wires were attached, I screwed the new unit to the body. Really easy. I just was puzzled why I received instructions to replace the gasket and none for the dishwasher latch.

Dishwasher door latch broke, door kept falling down
Door Latch was almost a breeze. Do turn off power. The shock left me know that I was alive. Took 6 screws out. Sat on chair in front so that the panel could lay on my lap. The hard part was pulling the old wires off the old latch. Got it. Installed new latch. Replaced screws. Took about 15 minutes. Springs. Took off front panel, cleaned front panel. Found where springs connected to teflon hooks on door, hoot spring to door and hooked in hole on bottom brace stretching the spring. Did same for other spring. Time: 15 minutes with cleaning.

Door handle latch broke after 10 years
Opened it up, replaced, closed it back. Didn't bother installing the gasket since that's still in good shape.

Broken handle.
Relatively easy to repair.
1 - Removed the 6 inside screws. and control panel came right out. 2 - Had to use a hex driver to remove the screws holding the latch ot the door. Easy enough, just two screws. 3 - Reassemble.
Toughest part of the job was getting the four wires off the latch. Used needlenose pliers.
I was suprised when I received the parts. There were directions on replacing the gasket but nothing for the door latch. Short of this, it was the right part and I received it on two days. Thanks

Plastic handle/latch broke
Once I realized I needed to remove the entire front of the dishwasher it was pretty easy. The only issue ws the new latch is not as tight as the original which may explain why the new gasket was included. I am going to take thr front off to make sure the latch gasket is screwed in tight. Otherwise it was very easy and simple to change.

Broken dishwasher handle
I put the wrong bend in the door gasket first time. Be careful of the bend on the bottom right and left. Re did the gasket and all is well. The door latches more smoothly than before. The only problem I had was putting the panel back on. I have a new hip and squatting for a time becomes problematic. Would do it again!!!

Broken handle
This was the best price on the internet. It was delivered quickly and after removing 4 screws, I could access the handle. Was relieved that I had correct tool for screws inside. Removed handle and unhooked wires. Plugged wires into new handle and fastened. Replaced panel in door then popped out gasket and replaced. Started dinner, turned around and repaired dishwasher and then sat down to eat. I am A single mom and this was VERY simple to replace!

Door wouldn't close, door switch wouldn't connect sometimes
I removed the screws around the top part of the door (from the inside side); carefully lowered the front panel down; unscrewed the old part; swapped the wires; screwed in the new part; and re-assembled the door. That was literally it -- 10 minutes and it was in and functioning better than it ever had with the broken latch. And the design looks so much more solid on this one.
The gasket didn't need to be replaced but I figured I'd do it anyway. It's a little harder than it seems like it would be, and in fact I spent more time on this than the latch itself, but it eventually went in and works just fine as well.
I hesitated for a long time because of the price, wondering if it was the right part. It looks very different in the actual latch mechanism, but it works perfectly. I wish I'd done this ages ago ^_^;;

Broken handle/latch
Probably took us longer to find the right circuit breaker (few were labelled), than to do the actual repair. Threw the breaker and removed the screws holding the front panel of dishwasher. The handle fell off in our hands. Attached the new handle/latch after removing the wire leads one by one from the old one and inserting the new wire leads. Had to insert the gasket twice. At first we had leftover lengths at both ends, but next time we pushed the gasket in without stretching, especially around the corners. It really does fit. Simple repair and probably saved $100 over having a repairman come out.

Broken door handle latch
First I turned off the power to the dishwasher at the breaker box (after getting shocked once). Then I removed the 2 screws holding the handle latch unit on the door. I then removed the 4 wires in order and put them on the new unit in the same location on the new unit. Finally, I screwed the new door latch handle unit onto the door, replaced the front panel and turned the power back on at the breaker box. It worked immediately. Easiest appliance repair I have ever completed. Thanks for the easy instructions and direction!

Door latch was broken
I followed the step by step instructions provided in the repair kit. during disassembly I cleaned the front of the dishwasher and cleaned the channel for the gasket supplied in the repair kit. Removed two screws for the latch, re-attached the wires and re-installed the screws and it was finished.

Latch broke
Unscrewed the front of the dishwasher, took out the old, broken latch. Popped in the new latch, screwed up the front of the dishwasher and that was that. Easy job! No problem!
