Dishwasher would turn off in middle of wash cycle
Turned power off to dishwasher. Removed 6 front cover screws, removed switch screws and moved switch so I could see wires . Unwired switch by sliding off wire connectors paying attention to wire positions. Installed new switch, rewired and installed front cover. Very easy replacement.

The handle cracked away from the assembly
I removed 6 screws, and the front top panel came off, which had the handle unit attached. It had 2 screws to remove, and 1 wire plug to pull out. I put the handle unit on, plugged the wire harness in and put the panel screws back in. It took about 5 minutes. I saved about $90.00. I am so glad I found this website. It is now in my FAVORITES

Plastic piece with door latch assembly broke
I had already removed a couple of screws so I could open my dishwasher because you know it wouldn't break unless it was full of dishes and in wash mode. I recieved the part, took the screws that actually held the door latch assembly in place, replace the door latch assembly, the screws that held it in place and finially the cover with it's four screws and "snap" it was opening and closing like it was brand new.

The handle broke and we couldn't get the door open
We actually had taken of the panel on the front of the DW door and looked at the part that was broken. Went to the internet and did a quick search for who had the best deal on parts and found this site. After narrowing it down and comparing a picture of the part with the broken part, we ordered it. Got it in the mail about 4 days later. Installed it in about 20 minutes ~ and WELLA! we have a working DW again. Thanks for being there for us!!!

The latch broke and we had difficulty using our dishwasher.
There were four screws to remove. I took the old latch out and put the new one in. The latch assembly was attached by two star screws. It was very easy to change out. It works perfectly! By ordering fom Part Select we saved theadded expense of calling an appliance repair man.

Dishwasher latch broke
Removed the top control panel and disconnected the electrical connectors. Removed the old latch and attached the connectors to the new latch. Attached the new latch and then reattached the front cover. Simple job if you have a phillips screwdriver and star tools.

The latch mechanism broke on the dishwasher
The failed part (latch kit) was quickly identified on the PartSelect web site. The order was placed for a replacement part and delivered in a timely manner (4 business days). The part looked identical so installation continued. The old part was removed by removing the six phillips screws that hold the top cover in place. (note: a star driver bit is required to remove the two screws holding the part in place.) The wires were switched from the old part to the new part one at a time to ensure that they were properly placed. The new part was secured in place using the two screws. The cover was replaced by securing the 6 phillips screws. The latch was tested and worked as expected. The total cost of the part and the shipping was around $50. Installation was a snap. This was a great experience and sure beats buying a new dishwasher! I will use PartSelect again.

The problem was that all I need was the latch and not the gasket and I needed a black latch not a white one
Repair was easy. I watched the video on how to repair it since It was my daughters dishwasher and I wanted to make sure I had all the tools I needed the first time.
