Water leak and broken latch
We knew the latch was broken, but operational if you held it just right. I disconnected the water line and electricity to slide the dishwashwer out from the cabinet. Determined that hose had been chewed through by a mouse. Ordered the parts. when they arrived, changed the hose, slid the dishwasher back into place and tested. No leaks. then removed 6 screws to remove the face, 2 more screws and the wires to remove the broken latch, reversed the processed to replace and replaced the old seal. Loaded the dishwasher and it works like new.

Latch broke on the dishwasher
Although I'm pretty handy, my husband is not, but thanks to the repair skills of a good friend, the dishwashter is repaired. Our friend knew exactly how to remove the broken part & replace it with the new one. It took him no time & it was all back together in about a half hour.

Repair of broken door latch assembly
Killed the breaker for the dishwasher and then removed the front top panel to expose the area where the part is located. Backed out 2 hex type screws and disconnected the 4 wire connections from the damaged part - replaced as quickly as I removed it. The only concern I had was the type of 'star-hex' screw that held the part in place. I had the proper tool but I can see where most people on automotive body parts. In all....went would not have this type of screwdriver. It is the type generally used very well.

Door latch broke
First step= removing the upper screws on inside of washer door. i used a cordless drill with philips bit to cut time down Step 2 = Switching bit from phillips to torx-remove the latch torx screws (2 of them). Handle is ready to be removed by pulling up slightly and out.
Step 3 = With new handle--remove the wires from old handle and attach to new just as they were attached to the old one. Do not cross wires around when doing this. This means do not take wires from the left and plug onto the right of new unit.
Step 4 = With wires attached- place handle back into unit - attach the 2 hex screws. Align panel on front and begin placing the screws into slots to re attach front panel. Tighten all screws. you are now finished. total time is less than 15 minutes using a cordless drill with phillips and torx bit

Door latch broke
First, I unplugged dishwasher. Second, I removed the top 6 screwson inside of door with a phillips screwdriver. Next, I removed the two star screws that held the latch. I then unplugged the wires from old latch and attached to new latch assembly, put it back and tightened all screws, plugged the dishwasher in and tested the latch. It was very simple using instructions listed on the website from other repair stories.

The handle to open and close the dishwasher was broken.
My son unplugged the dishwasher first, then unscrewed the screw around the inside of the door. He said the new part was very easy to exchange for the broken one after he was inside.

Handle to dishwasher broke
Basically I opened the dishwasher door all the way open and took about six screws out. Then I took off the two screws that held the handle assembly on. I then put the new assembly in and put all of the screws back on. All together it took me about 3 minutes to do. An appliance repair shop quoted me $200.00 labor. What a rip off that would have been. From now on I am doing my own repairs.

The interlocking door latch gave up the ghost, at first, I thought it mighthave worked loose. But an inspection showed that the part had broken. I went onlinein the a.M. Using the mfg. And part description, found part select.Com and ordered the part. By the next day it was delivered (ordinary groun
I removed the screws holding the cover in place. used my digital camera to note the wire connections. Then , shut off the power to the unit. Using the torx driver I removed and replaced the broken unit(two screws). It was a perfect fit. I checked the wire photo to reattach the leads . Before tightening the cover in place, I checked the latch for fit to its mating part on the machine. Then I replaced the screws, made them tight using a portable drill with a clutch. Turned on the power and the repair was complete. Very quick, simple and I saved a bunch of money. Thanks!

Broken latch handle
TURN OFF ELECTRICITY TO DISHWASHER FROM FUSE BOX! Remove top 6 screws from inside the door panel. Once you have access to latch, remove the two screws that hold it in place. When removing the four terminals use firm grip and remove them as gently as possible. Reposition terminals on the new leads paying close attention to their location. Black wires on one side and white wires on the other. "L" shaped leads are in front and rectangle leads are in the back. Use the two screws to reattach the new latch, replace the door panel and you are finished.

The handle was broken
I replaced the old handle by taking out the six screws that hold the control panel on, then removed the two hex screws that held the handle in place. I removed each wire (4 total) one by one simultaneously reconnecting them to the new handle. Then I replaced all screws as they were and called it a day. Pretty simple, little mechanical knowledge required.
