Inlet valve broken from freezing in Storage
Simply remove 5 or 6 self tapping screws to lower the cardboard backing with a 5/16 nut driver. Loosen two screws that hold the valve to the metal lip low on the back. Push 3 easy-connect fittings towards the valve while pulling the poly tube out at the same time. Replace the tubes by simply pushing into the fitting. I did these one at a time so I wouldn't get them mixed up. Fasten the valve back onto the metal lip, and screw the cardboard back on. Move the Fridge back and the job was all done~!

How do you remove and re-connect the water lines that are connected to the water solenoid valves.
For model number GR2FHTXVBOO
PartSelect logo
Hello Mike, thank you for your question. This is a quick connect valve so you would depress the couplings around each water line and pull the line out. To reinsert the water line, simply insert the tube into the port and it will grab and seal. I hope this helps!

We have water in the door but the watwr to the icemaker isn't working. The icemaker runs but is not recieving water. Which part do i need to replace?
For model number 10674252400
PartSelect logo
Hi John, Thank you for your question. The issue is likely the water inlet valve. If a component in the water inlet valve has failed or if there is insufficient pressure, it will not allow water to flow through and the ice maker will not make ice. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The water dispenser inside the fridge drips constantly. Stuck a rubber plug in he tube to temp stop the leak but pressure blew it back out. Thanks
For model number G2IXEFMWB01

Hello Rocky, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: water inlet valve, the water filter and water tubes. Also check your water pressure as it only requires 20 psi to run the water inlet valve. Hope this helps!

Part is leaking water on dispenser side when in use can it be cleaned or tightened and water lines put back in or just replace it with new if so do water lines just push back in to valve thanks
For model number G2IXEFMWQO1

Hi Dean, if you are going to tighten and clean the unit I would recommend a train technician to do so.This is a quick connect valve so you would depress the couplings around each water line and pull the line out. To reinsert the water line, simply insert the tube into the port and it will grab and seal. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

The ice maker seems to overfill, leaking into the ice bin forming a large chunk of ice. Leakage stops when the bale is in the up off position. Motor works okay. Does the solenoid need replacing?
For model number KTRC22EMBT05
PartSelect logo
Hi Keith, Thank you for your question. If the ice maker is leaking, you will need to check the water inlet valve, the ice maker, the water filter and the water tubes between the water inlet valve and the ice maker. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
