My dryer will not turn on? It worked one day and the next day it will not turn on.

Does this control panel come with a brand new touch screen? Or do I need to purchase that separately?

We need to purchase a new front control panel assembly. How easy is that to replace ourselves?

The screen shattered on the touch screen for the dryer. It has been broken a long time, we just never bothered to fix it. The LCD is still visible and provides the information; the washer still "talks" to the dryer. However, we can't change anything or clothes have to be "rewashed" if for some reason it does not transfer. What part needs to be replaced?

Thank you for your question. If the transfer is not working correctly, the issue may be the LCD Power Display Board and you will need to check it to see if it is working correctly. You will need to test the part with a multimeter. The problem in transferring information occurs only when human error does not program the washer correctly. The glass is shattered thus not allowing the touch screen to work. How do we get a new touch screen?

Thank you for your question. Check the connections between the control panels and the display control board. Overtime, a film may build up on the connections of the ribbon cable preventing the control panel from working correctly. This can be removed by gently using a pencil eraser to rub it off. If this does not help, you will need to check both control panels and the display control board to see which part is causing the issue. We hope this helps with the repair!

Hello Deborah, Thank you for your inquiry. The control board and control panel are two separate parts for your model. The control panel connects to the main control board which is part# WE04X10107, part# WE04X10134 is for the control buttons and display. Hope this helps!

I don't need the control panel but the touch screen.The screen shattered and i can no longer see the controls.What is a part number and the price of a new screen??

Hello Tony, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the screens are not available separately. If you need the screen that fills the square opening in the control panel, the whole control panel would have to be replaced. The right and left sides of the control are available separately. If the part you need is the control module with the screen on the left side control panel (the part that sits behind the control panel) that is part number DISPLAY Assembly - PWB/PCB Part Number: PS960659.
